Sophie is a Papillon.
- She weighs 4.7 pounds.
- Her birthday is 7-07-2007. Lucky!!
- She knows the words “treat”, “outside”, “go”, “daddy”, “potty”, “toy”, “no” and of course her own name!
- She love rawhide pieces, which causes her vegetarian mommy much consternation.
- She loves to give kisses.
In the summer of 2007, Jasmine decided that she wanted a dog. So she did what she is best at, and researched the shit out of different dogs. Some were too big, some were too small, some were too loud, and some were too slobbery. But when she read about the Papillon, she knew she had found the perfect dog. So she started looking for her Papillon, and found these pictures:
So Jasmine sent an email to Nathan with these pictures, and somehow managed to convince him (he who before had always said no to the idea of a dog in an apartment) to drive 4 hours to see this little puppy. It may possibly have been the pictures that convinced him, and not Jasmine’s awesome email skills.
And so the falling in love commenced, and Sophie came to live with her new daddy and mommy. She is a wonderful dog, very smart, loves to cuddle and take naps, never barks, and poses well for pictures (also an important quality).
